☕🎨 A COLLAB LIKE NO OTHER JUST GOT EVEN MORE EXCITING! 🎨☕
We’re beyond excited to unveil an extraordinary collaboration: @thecartoonmuseum × @pepitacoffee , in partnership with the legendary @officialfatboyslim ! 🎶✨
And we are delighted to announce that the winner of our competition is Thea Carley with her superb depiction of busy beavers using their caffeine hit to keep about their productive day. Sounds familiar!
Thea says:
"After many years working as a freelance writer and model, I returned to my first love, illustration, during lockdown. I started drawing every day as a form of self-medication and soon realised I wanted to make a career out of it. I have no formal art training, but I've thrown myself into learning through short courses, self-directed projects and competitions like this one. I'm now working towards my dream of becoming an established author-illustrator in children's publishing.
Honestly, this has been my favourite brief so far. The idea for the coffee tin came so naturally that I really enjoyed the process from start to finish. There wasn't much planning involved: I just kept drawing beavers until I was happy with the composition. This colony of fun-loving beavers are characters I return to time and time again (they even graced my wedding invitation!), only this time they were highly caffeinated.
It's so lovely to be recognised for something that feels like a true reflection of who I am as an artist."
