An anthology of short comics depicting life in 2050, as drawn by the Cartoon and Comic Arts students at Staffordshire University.
Between October 2025 and March 2026, The Cartoon Museum ran an exhibition called 'The Future Was Then', which told the story of how comics have depicted our many possible futures.
Inspired by the collection of work on show, the second year Cartoon and Comic Arts students from the University of Staffordshire each created a two-page comic, all set in the year 2050.
This anthology contains 10 of those stories.
