For years I have wanted a cat in my life. My partner might have picked up on a few things… (Drawing cat comics and my need to stop in the street for a cat at any time because of COURSE that’s a reason for lateness!). In 2020 a visiting neighbour cat eventually set us on a journey to adopting a cat of our own. But, with it being covid times, the cat was to be something of a surprise. Would the dream of having a cat live up to the reality? And most importantly, would we need plasters?
